Effective date: November 2, 2026
SAEL Partners (“SAEL Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) buys vacant land directly from landowners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit saelpartners.com, call us, fill out a form, or receive text messages from us, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you call us, submit a form, or write to us, you may give us:
- Your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number
- The reference number from a letter we mailed to you
- Details about your property, such as its county, parcel number (APN), acreage, ownership, and any taxes or liens
- Anything else you choose to tell us about your situation or your property
Phone calls. Calls to our main number are first answered by an AI-powered assistant. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so that a partner can review what you told us and follow up accurately. You will be told at the start of the call that it may be recorded.
Public records. We use publicly available property records, such as county assessor and tax records, to identify landowners and send them letters. That is how we got your name and mailing address if you received a letter from us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. Our site uses only the cookies needed for it to function. We do not use advertising cookies.
Viewing your offer online. If you view your offer at saelpartners.com/offer, we record that visit (the date and time, the pages and documents you open, your device type, and your IP address) and link it to your offer, so that a partner can follow up and answer your questions. If you sign online, we keep a signing record with your signature, the time, and your IP address. If you give us your email address or phone number on that page, we use it to send you what you asked for and to follow up about your offer. We do not use cookies for this, and we do not share it except with the closing parties described below if you sell to us.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and have a partner follow up with you personally
- To research your property and evaluate whether we can make you an offer
- To prepare purchase documents and complete a sale, if you decide to sell
- To send you text messages you have agreed to receive (see “Text messaging” below)
- To keep our records accurate, including honoring requests not to contact you
- To comply with the law and protect our rights
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send you messages related to the inquiry you started, such as follow-ups and scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, phone and text-messaging services, our call-answering assistant, and our customer records system. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Closing parties. If you agree to sell us your property, we share the information needed to close with the title company, escrow or closing attorney, and county recorder.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If our business is reorganized or sold, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we protect and keep information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including keeping records of completed transactions and of requests not to contact you.
Your choices
- Stop letters or calls: call or email us and ask to be removed from our list. We will honor your request.
- Stop text messages: reply STOP to any message.
- Access or correct your information: contact us and we will review your request.
California residents
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because we do not track visitors across other websites. If you are a California resident, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions, by contacting us below.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
